2020 as a Poem and a Goodbye

i want to unravel my thighs from my bedsheets

but what is the point? i wouldn’t wake up if that

was something i had control over. instead i roll

over and guilt myself into letting go of skin on

linen skin. i’m not depressed. simply unexcited.
