i don’t make a single sound.

i hear that if you look long enough, somewhere on earth, you can find heaven, but i stopped believing in hope when i was seven. the pillow fairy left me nothing in exchange for my tooth, and nobody wanted to tell me the truth, so from then on out, i collapsed inside my mind and made a home out of my head. i keep everything to myself, including all the things you said — like how you want to hold me, but only when no one is around, and how you don’t mind me as long as i don’t make a single sound.
