there are so many lines worth highlighting here, but i think one that struck me the most is when you said, "The day of my birth and the day of my death aren’t the beginning and end of me. They are mile markers in a much longer journey." though i'm not a parent and have not lost a child, your writing gave me comfort in a way i haven't been able to find after losing my mom a year ago. thank you.
